CHAOS op mijn werktafel!

CHAOS on my desk!

When you make the same pattern for the 3rd time, you (I.....) think you can do that without reading the instructions.....stupidstupidstupid!

The pattern says: all seam allowances are 1,5 cm and are included  on the pattern and I included another 1,5 cm too. The dress was way to there was a lot of work for the seamripper (you can see that!)

Keep calm en naai verder

Keep calm and sew on

And this will help a lot: a lovely present of a dear niece!

I found this piece of cloth in IKEA sale. Hope to find another Merchant & Mills pattern at the Handwerkbeurs this weekend. I love these simple nice patterns.

Fijne dag!

Have a nice day!

  3. Oh I use my seam ripper all the time! Even though I've made bags for many years now, there's always the time when I make a huge mistake and have to take everything apart again. I love the fabrics you have on your desk today, they're really funky!

  6. Hi Fran, I know it's a pain and takes time but I always tack before machining so I can try things on as I hate to have to unpick stuff. Hope you get it sorted. Have a lovely belated WOYWW, Angela x20x
